Glenelg Motel - Adelaide

We recently stayed at glenelg motel and were pleased with our overall experience. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making our check-in smooth. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with clever light switches and a lazy susan to watch tv from different spots.

A bit musty and old furniture. 😕.

the breakfast was included, that was a bonus. really enjoyed the location close to walk to glenelg centre.

The staff were slightly abrupt, didn't expect that coming.

Request a toaster when you check in. It's provided promptly and makes breakfasts easier.

It was very clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed in our room and enjoyed our stay. We will be back in the future Thank you Melissa & Scott Robbins

Exceptionally comfortable bed, good size bathroom and climate control and a lounge area in the room. What a marvellous location close to main areas of Glenelg! And close to Port Adelaide and the various museums and the other way, the coast, the center of Adelaide, and many restaurants and the tram...

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had a nice smell. The outdoor pool was perfect to cool off on hot days. We had a comfy room with decent air con. Good location to the beach.

The room was tiny and really outdated for the price we paid. We had no hot water on our second day, and that really sucked.

Central to Jetty Road and to the airport. Staff was very welcoming and was able to book in early.

The spa in the room

The location was a bit misleading.... and for the price it was basically just a roadside motel. Very dated, and cheap looking.

Cleanliness of the bathroom caught my eye, amazing maintenance across the board. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi provided more than enough connectivity .

The carpets had significant wear showing in some areas, a little refreshing would go a long way. The bar fridge struggled with freezing capabilities, leaving ice cream attempting to turn into soup. Instant coffee sachets instead of proper options might also disappoint real coffee drinkers.

Great location and cute staff

I appreciated the cute nature of the staff and the excellent cleanliness of the room . It was easy to walk to the Main Street and easily access Jetty Road. The pleasant surprise of having a good shower with great water pressure is something I'll remember fondly. I found the bathroom decor to be a bit outdated and could use a refresh.

Affordable and the staff very helpful, even when I left my award behind they rang straight away to let me know (even though I was about to ring them as I realised I had left it behind). They offerred to get it to me in the best way. Luckily I had a friend that was in the city who could pick it up for me. I would go and stay at this motel again when the need was required.

I was blown away by the cleanliness of my room with a lovely smell that added to the overall experience. The outdoor swimming pool was a fantastic way to cool off in the hot weather, and the sun loungers were perfect. The service here shone, with staff going above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed throughout my stay.
